Circulate San Diego has a vacancy for a full-time Project Coordinator. The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to effectively deliver and manage active transportation community projects such as Safe Routes to School. The Project Coordinator will ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Program Manager and works closely with community groups and neighborhood organizations in the community, and with public officials, and decision makers in local government.

The ideal candidate will have bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, verbal and written. Proficiency in using MS Office suite, email and the internet, GIS ARCView software, and strong time-management, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are essential. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited university with a degree in public administration, planning, transportation or related field of study; a Masters degree is preferred but not required. Experience in the delivery of government contracts, working at the grassroots with neighborhood groups and in public policy advocacy is desirable; a basic knowledge of urban design principles, traffic calming measures, accessible and inviting streetscapes is a plus.

Circulate San Diego is a nonprofit organization that was created through the merger of WalkSanDiego and Move San Diego.
