KTU+A is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to oversee existing technical staff on federal, transportation, design, environmental and planning projects. We are looking for a motivated and well organized individual willing to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires an understanding of different programs and their relationship with data and workflow for efficiency.

Job Description:

  • Managing various technical aspects of GIS, CAD and database workflows
  • Overseeing and conducting map production (data driven pages) and data management (per Client standards)
  • Tracking and documenting work flow / spatial modeling processes
  • Work closely with project managers on completing tasks, designing workflows
  • Project and staff scheduling (Deltek Vision)
  • Proposal writing, preparing and attending interviews, presenting at conferences, webinars and marketing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical knowledge of GIS processes and data integration
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Public speaking and presentation skills

Core Technical Skills:

  • ArcGIS Suite 10.X (Data driven pages, etc)
  • Modelbuilder
  • ESRI extensions (3D Analyst, ArcScene, Network Analyst and Spatial Analyst)
  • GPS data collection
  • MS Access
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Geography, Landscape Architecture, Planning or related field
  • Over five (5) years of professional experience with daily use of ArcMap, extensions and workflow management
