Four key positions– two Planner Managers and two Senior Planners.
The Planning Manager (Advance or Current) classification plans, organizes, and manages one or more functions or programs of the Department of Planning and Community Environment. Requires the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government including supervisory experience. Salary range: $92,955-$139,443. Relocation may be provided. The Senior Planner (Affordable Housing or Current and/or Advance) classification performs complex professional planning functions and may act as project manager on assigned projects. Requires the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience. California planning experience is preferred. Salary range: $90,355-$110,926.
